Salesforce Tester

The ideal Tester will have experience of testing Salesforce platform applications coupled with a solid background in financial services.

The ideal Tester will have experience of testing Salesforce platform applications coupled with a solid background in financial services. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce financial services applications. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and business acumen to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions to various clients.

•At least 2-3 years of experience testing Salesforce applications, within a financial services environment
• Experience of using Microsoft Azure Devops /Agile delivery
• Proven experience of working and designing test scenarios
• Solid experience of Agile methodologies working within collaborative Agile development teams

The successful Tester / Test Analyst / QA Analyst will have previous experience of testing Salesforce applications within an Agile environment.

You will possess excellent written and verbal skills, together with being self-organised and methodical with your approach to work.

Other desirable development / programming background preferably with knowledge of C# or Java.

 

  • Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
  • In depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end to end functional and automation testing.
  • Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
  • Clearly communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing and coordination of release activities.
  • Participate in user story creation process through dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions.

There is an in house Salesforce Team that is currently working with their delivery partner to facilitate the move from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning and as the Manual Tester you will be focused on ensuring that the quality of the software is at its best by managing the required planning, testing, and implementation related to the Salesforce product

You will be working with several key stakeholders across the organisation including the Product Owner, Software Architect users, and partners to understand the requirements from a functional and operational point of view, develop and execute plans for unit end to end and user acceptance testing.

Minimum 3+ Years

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce
• Excellent experience as a manual tester on Salesforce
• Salesforce certified
• Knowledge of the QA process, testing, and methodologies
• Experience working with an agile software development team

The essentials:

Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent, we are open to strong candidates from all relevant educational backgrounds but ideally from a technology, science, engineering or business background;
Consulting experience, gained with a leading professional services or systems integration firm;
Expert knowledge and understanding of digital trends and challenges across industries, gained through project experience, contribution to thought leadership, articles, client recommendation, etc.
Proven experience in providing technical leadership on complex, digital and front-office transformation initiatives, managing mixed technical teams to deliver the work;
Expertise in architecting digital and multi-channel technology solutions, covering all layers of the technology stack;
Demonstrable track record of helping to shape successful business development of digital and other front office business transformation initiatives.
Have a minimum of Salesforce Platform App Builder and Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications.
The nice to have:

Have both the Salesforce System Architect and the Salesforce Application Architect certifications or the Technical Architect certification.
Majority of related experience gained in one of the following sectors:
Financial Services – Retail and Commercial Banking
